Regional Learning Communities in Action: How Three Consortia Organize, Collaborate, and Innovate

Learning community consortia strengthen collaboration, expand professional learning, and support educators across entire regions. Yet the work of organizing across institutions—and sometimes across counties or states—comes with its own set of complexities. This one‑hour online workshop brings together representatives from The Atlantic Center for Learning Communities, the Consortium of Illinois Learning Communities (CILC), and the Washington Learning Communities Consortium (WLCC) to share how they structure their networks, the kinds of programs and supports they offer, and what they’ve learned about navigating the realities of regional collaboration.
Participants will hear brief presentations from each consortium, followed by a facilitated Q&A.
